This award is being presented for the whole of 2002 to an individual Grizzly member, one of each gender, in recognition of their devotion, friendship, dutiful support and comradeship to all the members of the Grizzly family.

GrizzlyError404: Tony is a dear friend to all of the Grizzly family and to many chess players online. His charm, conviviality and kindliness is infamous and appreciated by all who are fortunate enough to come into contact with him. His congenial sense of humor is life blood to many of his friends; his open and harmonious nature, a breath of fresh air. It is my honor and joy to have the opportunity to give him this award of Golden Grizzly for 2002!! Thank you Tony for all the personal strengths you bring to our community, for all your understanding, patience, empathy, sense of justice and fair play. Credit and respect is always due to one who shows such an auspicious and providential sense of loyalty, dignity and trustworthiness. I know I can speak for the whole Grizzly Family when I thank you so very very much for everything you do for all those you meet, help and support online. Her tender beneficence is home to an empathetic, symphonious grace and intrinsic sense of evenhanded fairness. Carra, thank you endlessly for all your benedictine kindness and quiet love and support, my friend. It gives me tremendous pleasure to give you this award, of female Golden Grizzly 2002. We Grizzlies are truly blessed that you are a member of our family. This tribute of praise and homage paid to such a fine beautiful lady is the least we can do to recognize all the many strengths you bring to our convivial social group. Your sweetness of nature is truly life-affirming and all would be wise to treasure it. Congratulations on being chosen as our female Golden Grizzly 2002!!!
