The Golden Grizzly Award is selected by votes given by qualified voting members of the GrizzlyChess Club.
Voters should look for good attitude, activity, chess improvement, love, loyalty to the club and respect for all people.
For your Golden Grizzly, pick the members you feel wear their grizzly nic with pride, are a positive example to all, show love for the club and who best represent the grizzly family and grizzly attitude.... and again, grizzlies are not allowed to vote for themselves and blackmail, bribery and corruption are all unacceptable ways of obtaining votes... so behave !!
Voting Requirements
In order to place your vote for *GG* you must be a Grizzly Member a minimum 5 months, and to qualify as a Candidate for the award one year membership is required.
All grizzlies are encouraged to send their votes for Golden Grizzly during October-November of each year, placing their votes openly on the Grizzly forum
or sending their votes to "Golden Grizzly Private Vote" at: Grizzly Chess Mail Center .
Regulations
Each voter must nominate one grizzly of each gender. Both your votes must be placed at the same time.
When placing your votes you may include the reasons you feel the individuals are deserving of the honor.
When your vote is placed you may not alter it, i.e. you may not change your mind due to a silly squabble.
Should there be a tie the panel's decision is complete and final.
Grizzlies are not allowed to vote for themselves.
